Beyonce to star in new movie as she aims to win her first Oscar Academy Award.

Legendary American songstress, Beyonce who has also starred in a couple of Hollywood movies is about to take her acting career to a whole new level as she plans to star in a new movie.

According to reports, Queen B has put together a team to assist her in working on a gritty movie as she aims to win her first Oscar Academy award. Beyonce will be doing the movie based on the touching story of a slave, Saartjie Baartman who because of her huge bum was exhibited in London freak shows. Saartjie Baartman who was a South African was sold to a Scottish doctor in the 19th century, who exhibited her in London shows because of her body shape, she passed on aged 25. Beyonce has decided to make a movie based on the story of this slave, as she aims to land her first Oscar Academy award after starring in some successful Hollywood movies including; Dream Girls, Austin Powers, and Obsessed.

According to what an Hollywood source told The Sun: “Beyonce is desperate to be taken seriously as an actress. Even though she’s had a string of well-received movies, she still feels her breakthrough is yet to come.”
